30 years ago, the company crisscrossed Venezuela to find elusive varieties of the ancestral criollo cacao thought to be lost, such as Guasare, Canoabo and Porcelana.

Franceschi Chocolate is the result of that achievement already having won a score of international prizes.

Its tree to bar and bean to bar chocolates honor each cacao variety; its delicate processing carefully reflecting the particular properties of each harvest.
